  2. Design, development and study of nanostructured multicomponent coatings with high hardness and thermal stability.
  3. Deposition of hydroxyapatite (HA) and ceramic coatings by DC/pulse magnetron sputtering and ion/electron beam ablation technologies.
  4. Plasma-spraying (detonation method) and electro-spark technologies for sputtering and alloying of different kinds of materials.
  5. Processes of high and intensive implantation in metal and semiconductor materials for improving the properties and products from them.
  6. Biomaterials development, micro- and nanoparticles, surface functionalization, polymeric biomaterials.
  7. Synthesis and studying 2D carbides/nitrides (MXenes).
