  1. Modification of structure and properties of materials by intense pulsed ion beams, electron beams, and pulsed plasma flows.

  2. Development basis of protective coatings with high physical and mechanical properties using plasma jets obtaining.

  3. Processes of high and intensive implantation in metal and semiconductor materials for improving the properties and products from them.

  4. Design, development and study of nanostructured multicomponent coatings with high hardness and thermal stability.

  5. Design, development and study of nanostructured multilayered coatings.

During the period of his work since 1986 more than 65 state contracts, economic contracts, state orders, international grants, orders from ISTC (The International Science and Technology Center), CSTS (Center of Scientific Technical Services) were realized in cooperation with scientists from Japan, France, Germany, USA, Italy, Finland, Poland, South Korea, China, Greece, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Belorussia and Russia.
